What moves through Offra

Trading cards sourced in Japan — Pokémon, One Piece, Yu-Gi-Oh!, Magic, Duel Masters and more.

A specific card

Pick the exact card out of the catalogue — set, number and print. The seller sees the card you saw.

Display

A display or booster box, named by its set, not by anything inside it.

Goodies

Sleeves, playmats, binders, plush, promo goods — describe what you want in your own words. One request is one lot: say what it holds (e.g. 3 packs of 64 sleeves).

Illustrations are for presentation only and do not show actual products. Pokémon, One Piece, Yu-Gi-Oh!, Magic and Duel Masters are trademarks of their respective owners; Offra is not affiliated with or endorsed by them.

How it works for buyers

From want-list to delivered parcel in four steps. Prices are shown in your currency; your card is charged in yen.

Post your request

Describe what you want — the item, edition, condition, quantity and budget. Our category forms capture what Japanese sellers need, and as a rule it is translated automatically — when it cannot be, the original is shown with a note saying so. A request runs for 30 days at most, which is why sellers read them.

Receive priced offers

Vetted sellers see your request in their feed and reply with a price in yen — shown in euros or dollars — with shipping on a separate line, and at least one photo of the item.

Negotiate one-on-one

Shortlist the best offer to open 48 hours of exclusivity. Counter freely — the exchange stays private, and only the seller's figure sets the price.

Pay securely, receive, rate

Pay by card through Stripe. The payment is secured before shipment; your card is charged when the seller registers tracking. Sellers undertake to ship within 5 business days. Confirm delivery, open a claim if something is wrong, and rate the seller.

Built for professional trust

Sellers vetted by hand, payment through a regulated provider, documents for your accountant.

Protected payments

Stripe secures the buyer's card payment on the seller's connected account. Offra never holds the funds. The buyer is charged when tracking is registered; after delivery, the hold on the seller's payout is lifted once the 48-hour initial claim period ends without a claim. When it reaches the bank depends on Stripe processing and bank business days.

Vetted sellers, registered buyers

Every seller is reviewed and approved by our team before they can quote. Every buyer is a registered business with its company number on file.

Claims reviewed

An initial 48-hour claim period after delivery, reviewed and decided by the platform. Justified claims are refunded to the card, from the seller's own account. Reports of counterfeits or serious fraud may still be investigated after that period.

Proper paperwork

Depending on the deal: order confirmation, invoice, landed-cost estimate and customs documents. Check their content, and which documents you need, against the deal's terms and the shipping method.

Frequently asked questions

Who can join Offra?

Registered businesses only: shops, dealers and resellers in Europe or the US on the buying side, and shops, dealers and wholesalers in Japan on the selling side. Every seller application is reviewed by hand; buyers give their company registration details and can post straight away.

What does it cost?

Registration is free and no Offra buyer fee is added at checkout. You pay the price you accept plus shipping; platform and payment-processing costs are already built into the seller's quoted price. Import taxes, duties and clearance fees, and any conversion difference or fee from your card issuer, may apply separately.

How are prices and currencies handled?

Sellers quote in yen, and your card is charged in yen — that figure is fixed when you accept, and it is what you are billed. The euros or dollars you see are an indication at the rate on the day; the exact amount on your statement is set by your card issuer's rate and any fee it applies.

What happens if the goods don't match the description?

You have 48 hours after delivery to open an initial claim, with photos. Our team mediates and decides: rejected, partly refunded or refunded in full. Refunds go back to the card, taken from the seller's account. Reports of counterfeits or serious fraud may still be investigated after that period.

Who handles customs and import duties?

The buyer is the importer of record. Before you pay, every deal shows an estimated landed cost including import VAT for your country.

Who holds my money between payment and delivery?

Stripe handles the payment on the seller's connected account. Your card is authorised when you pay and charged when the seller registers tracking; after delivery, the hold on the seller's payout is lifted once the 48-hour initial claim period ends without a claim. Offra never holds the funds.

How is this different from a proxy or forwarding service?

A proxy or forwarding service typically buys or forwards on your behalf, and its fees may come on top of the price of the goods. Here you deal with the shop directly: it quotes you, you negotiate, and no Offra buyer fee is added at checkout. Your counterparty is a vetted, rated business, and you get the documents that fit the deal and an initial claim window. Fees, documents and cover vary from one service to another, so check each one's terms.
