Japanese commercial disclosure
This is the disclosure required of an online operator by the Japanese Act on Specified Commercial Transactions, and it concerns the operator of Offra. Goods bought through Offra are sold by the individual Japanese shops on it; the seller, the price and the shipping cost of any particular transaction are named on the quote and the order the buyer accepts.

- What the platform charges
- Ten percent of the goods price on a concluded sale, never on shipping. It is included in the amount the buyer accepted and is never billed separately.
- Other costs
- International shipping, quoted before the buyer accepts. Customs duty, import tax and any other charge levied in the destination country, which is the buyer's and depends on that country's rules. Any foreign-exchange fee the buyer's card issuer applies.
- Payment method
- Card, through Stripe.
- When payment is taken
- When the buyer accepts the quote. The money is held until the seller enters a tracking number, and paid out to the seller after that.
- Delivery
- Dispatched from Japan by the seller. The tracking number reaches the buyer as soon as it is entered; how long the parcel takes depends on the carrier and the destination.
- Returns and cancellation
- Within seven days of delivery, a buyer may report an item that is not as described, damaged, incomplete, or different from the one ordered, with photographs. The platform puts questions to both parties and decides: rejection, partial refund, or full refund. Where a transaction is refunded, the commission is refunded in the same proportion. Returns for change of mind are not accepted.
- How long an order stands
- A buying request runs between seven and thirty days, and a seller's quote stands until that request's deadline.
